SECURITY DEFENSE
PREREQUISITES FOR ALL SECURITY GUARD JOB APPLICANTS
1. Applicant must be twenty-one years (21+) years of age or older and a continual work history.
2. Applicant must be legal to work in the U.S.
3. Applicant must have a High School Diploma, or GED, or minimum 2 years guard experience.
4. Have a current California Guard Card.
5. Applicant must have a valid California Driver’s License.
6. Applicant must provide California DMV driving record/print-out at time of interview. No points allowed.
7. Applicant must be fluent English both verbal and written.
8. Complete an entry level writing exam and a basic oral interview.
9. Applicant must be available to work at least any two shifts: Day Shift, Swing Shift and/or Graveyards, and weekends. Applicants must be able to work on weekends and Holidays.
10. Applicant if hired must be able to wear a company assigned uniform while at work and meet the company uniform and grooming standards..
11. Applicant must have obtained 40 hrs of certified guard training(AB2880). Proof must be presented at time of interview, or must be able to comply with completion of training within 60 days of hired date.
12. Applicant must meet all requirements as described on the “Job Summary and Physical Abilities Form”.
13. All applicants are subjected to random background checks and drug screens, before and during employment.
14. Applicant must be able to attend employment orientation.
15. Applicant must have a working cellphone and a working email address in order to confirm and accept weekly work schedules by email or text messaging and/or be able to visit a local public library to obtain access to a computer to confirm your weekly work schedules each week.
16. Applicant shall have a working mailing address for delivery of payroll checks & stubs and delivery of other company forms and documentations.
17. If hired, applicant must be able to clock in and out for duty by cell phone application for attendance and payroll purposes.
