Security Defense, Inc. is a small business organization located in the Inland Empire in the City of Corona, California. The main office operates 24 hours a day, seven days per week. It has the advantage of being located near major freeways and is easily accessible from many locations. The company was established on March 15, 2004, by Mrs. Maria Juarez, a former L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Explorer Lieutenant and a former U.S. Customs Explorer, Master at Arms. Mrs. Juarez has earned a master’s degree in strategic human resources from the University of Arizona and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Baptist University (CBU). Mrs. Juarez has worked in the security industry for over twenty-five (25) years, and her experience and educational achievements are the company’s driving force.
Security Defense is licensed by the State of California, the Department of Consumer Affairs, the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) license number PPO 120427. In addition to offering private security services, Security Defense, Inc. is also a public school for security officers approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), with a school license number 34766. The organization is certified by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority as a small business enterprise (SBE) and a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) with over 100 employees. Security Defense, Inc. is insured for workman’s compensation, and we carry a $2,000,000 general insurance liability.
The success of the organization lies in the direction of Mrs. Maria Juarez, CEO, its human resources department, the security supervisors & other related roles, and its 100 employees. There is no stopping or slowing down Security Defense, Inc. as the need for private security and policing grows yearly; the projections for growth and establishing a branch office in Los Angeles County look optimistic.
