Unarmed Security Officers
This service is offered on an hourly basis. All security officers are licensed by the state of California and must pass a criminal background check before starting work at Security Defense, Inc. Our security officers are trained to provide the highest level of professionalism that you need to protect your assets, employees, and property. All security personnel are uniformed and trained to meet the California minimum training standards for security officers both for armed or unarmed security services.
Armed Security Officers
Commonly requested by organizations looking to improve or increase their current physical security. This service is offered on an hourly basis. All security officers are licensed by the state of California and must pass a criminal background check before starting work at Security Defense, Inc. Our security officers are trained to provide the highest level of professionalism that you need to protect your assets, employees, and property. All security personnel are uniformed and trained to meet the California minimum training standards for security officers both for armed or unarmed security services.
Security Patrol Services
This is a service that is contracted on a part-time or full-time basis to patrol a certain property or properties. Such service is provided in a company patrol vehicle that is usually marked as “Private Security” and has rotating yellow flashing lights similar to those of law enforcement. Clients that usually request this service are clients that have large and wide property lines with vast parking structures such as large distribution centers, HOAs, shopping centers, executive offices, parks & recreations, city & government buildings, large construction sites, and welding, gas, and oil refinery centers, etc.

Emergency Response
This is commonly a service that is provided on a “needed basis”. These services are usually requested as a last means of resort often during unforeseen events and are usually needed when alarm systems are non-operable, broken window displays exist, Firewatch, and overnight construction or repairs will be conducted in a place of business. The security guards are critical in the framework of response to emergency situations. This service is provided using either armed or unarmed security officers.
Firewatch
This service is a precautionary measure put in place when a building’s fire safety equipment is either non-operational or being serviced. Our security officers are trained to watch and monitor the premises to ensure the safety of all areas. Our security officers walk around the property and are required to identify potential fire threats and record their observations hourly. Our fire watch officers are specially trained to detect and sound the alarm in the event of a fire and mitigate losses resulting from fire hazards by contacting the local authorities without delay and providing assistance to tenants, visitors, and customers as needed.
Crossing Guards
Security Defense, Inc. crossing guards help people cross the street in areas with high traffic. Most crossing guards work at intersections near schools so they can help students cross the street safely and ensure any kids they monitor remain safe and also in busy intersections that do not have stoplights. Our primary responsibility is to help people cross the street by directing traffic. This often involves standing at intersections and using hand signals or handheld signs to stop traffic and create a gap for people to cross the street. Our crossing guards focus on maintaining traffic safety and informing pedestrians, especially children, about traffic safety protocol by providing instructions for how to cross the street safely on their own, such as looking both ways before crossing.
